"As part of my boot camp experience I learned that I could achieve my goals and lead a healthier life style. I do not have to rely on old patterns of diet and exercise. I also learned that I didn’t have to be perfect. It was okay and necessary to indulge every once in a while as long as I had a good base of exercise and nutrition to lean on, which boot camp helped me to build. The only drawback I’ve encountered is needing to buy new clothes each month. This was necessary as I dropped from a size 14-16 in June to a size 6-8 in December. But I don’t mind and I look forward to extra shopping in the upcoming months."

I feel great!!! I put on a jeans skirt that I have not worn in over 3 months and IT FELL OFF OF my Hips!!! I had to get rid of all my size 8's and my 6's are on the loose end with some 4's fitting really nicely.
What's best is that I know what I've done has been a lifestyle change. So much so that my husband has lost 16 lbs with me during the Challenge and we feel so young again.
I'm ready for the next challenge...my first 5K in Sept!

Here's what she had to say about her Boot Camp experience:
“The entire "Boot Camp" process has worked for me. Although I think the "Accountability" was the biggest factor in my success…I learned that I can be very determined and focused. I learned that I could lose weight without it feeling like torture. I learned that I can eat healthy and not feel deprived of the junk food that I love so much. I learned that with only a small daily time commitment I could reap huge benefits; physically, mentally, and emotionally. The gains I have made have been great for my self-esteem and my overall well being. I haven't felt this good in years. I am feeling better as a wife and mother. I have always been athletic - but this process has changed my perspective of exercise and nutrition. I am so pumped and enthusiastic about this, I love to talk about it to friends and family…After 12 weeks I have dropped 2 sizes...I am down to a size 4! I can't remember when, if ever, I was a size 4. I've been a member of gyms for years and I even had a personal trainer for a year leading up to my wedding back in 2003 - even though I was the same weight then...this is the best shape I've ever been in.”

“I learned SO much through attending Boot Camp and continuously e-mailing Chris with questions about EVERYTHING and ANYTHING pertaining to exercise and nutrition. Also, his daily assignments kept me on track and focused. I feel the biggest factor in my weight loss was a combination of nutrition, exercise, and accountability. But I would have to say nutrition stands above the others since I feel that was what I had to change the most. I wouldn’t say that I was ever a really bad eater, but I learned the importance of eating healthier and selecting better choices for snacks. I also learned a lot about exercise and am pleased I don’t have to spend countless hours in a gym to see results! I enjoyed attending class and working out with the others supporting each other, pushing each other, but knowing I can do 20-30 minutes a day at home with little to no equipment is wonderful! I also learned that when I put my mind to it, with a little time and effort, I was able to accomplish my goals! Right now I am still in awe of the success I have achieved”
